Mrs. Tai Olakunbi Doherty joined Nigerian-American Public Affairs Committees (NAPAC) from the beginning. She has been on the frontline and contributed immensely to the growth of the organization.
Kunbi has contributed to the growth of California State Political Action Committee (CALPAC) in different capacities ranging from General Secretary to serving currently as a Financial Secretary.
In 2015, she organized the Bay Area NAPAC Independence Day Parade in Oakland with Mr. Dapo Odulami and Mr. Taye Doherty. Which was successful.
In 2016, she and her husband hosted NAPAC Christmas dinner at her resident in San Ramon, CA.
In 2018, she was a chair of the sponsorship committee for the Nigerian Independence Day Parade in Caslon, CA and organized a GoFundMe Program.
In 2020, she was part of the Valentine Masquerade Gala Ball team where she spearheads the sponsorship/donation program.
Before joining NAPAC, she has more than 20 years of innovative leadership and project manager with extensive experience in payroll accounting, budget analysis, tax reporting, multi-state tax regulations and internal audit.
She has worked with Intel Corporations, the high-tech company, Robert Half International, a multinational company and California Donor Transplant, a non-for-profit organization.
As a licensed Realtor in California, her extensive marketing plan gives homeowners/investors the opportunity to get the maximum value for their property. She helps negotiate the best possible deal and customer satisfaction is her ultimate goal.
Kunbi Doherty received her Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in accounting from University of Phoenix and Computer Science from University of Lagos.
